CTET 2020 Official New Update: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for primary and upper primary teachers to apply for recruitment in KVS / NVS / Misc schools. The CTET July 2020 examination was scheduled to be held on July 5, however, the exam was postponed due to the COVID-19 epidemic. CBSE will announce the new CTET exam date soon on the official website www.ctet.nic.in. CBSE conducts the Central Teaching Eligibility Test for CTET Paper I and Paper II in two phases. CTET Paper 1 is for those candidates who want to become Class I-V teachers and CTET Paper 2 is for Class VI-VIII teachers. CTET eligibility certificate is required for the candidates to secure teaching work in any government or private school. Candidates who have passed the CTET examination 2020-21 are eligible to apply for recruitment in Kendriya Vidyalaya/ Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and any other Kendriya Vidyalaya. The CTET 2020 has been postponed further, a move that has been taken as a preventive measure against the COVID-19 epidemic. It was previously scheduled for 05 July 2020. New dates will be announced soon.

September 21: The CTET 2020 exam is likely to be held in October. The CTET Admit Card 2020 is likely to be out soon.

September 7: The CBSE CTET exam date 2020 is likely to be announced soon.

New CTET Exam Date 2020-21 will be released by CBSE soon. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on July 5 but was postponed by the CBSE keeping in mind the increasing number of coronavirus cases in the country. The news came as a relief to the CTET 2020 candidates who were eager and suspicious to appear for the exam. CBSE then announced that the next CTET 2020 date will be released if the situation becomes more favorable for conducting the exam.

Currently, while the situation is worse with respect to the number of COVID-19 cases across the country, a revised date is awaited for the CTET 2020 examination.

CTET Admit Card 2020

The CTET Admit Card will be released approximately three weeks before the 2020 examination. Earlier, the admit card was to be issued in the third week of June but was postponed due to the postponement of the CTET 2020 exam.

Once released, Central Teacher Eligibility Test candidates can download the CTET Admit Card 2020 from the official website of the exam – www.ctet.nic.in. Candidates can download their admit card using details like registration/application number and date of birth/password.

The CTET 2020 Admit Card is a mandatory document to be taken to the allotted examination center. The document contains all the important information like exam date, exam time, exam center address, etc.
